Box Carriage Guests Please Note
If you have booked a stay in the Box Carriage please note there are no cooking facilities in this accommodation. There are tea & coffee making facilities with complimentary tea & coffee as well as a small fridge.
Wood for the wood burner in the box carriage has to be provided by Rivervale Holidays to ensure quality of wood and no damage caused to either the wood burner itself or its flue.
Check In
There is a duty manager and warden on site to ensure your check in goes smoothly. Check in times are from 4pm until 7pm, if you think you are going to be later than this please call us on 07534 900882.
If there is any delay or issue preventing you from checking in on the first day of your holiday, please call duty manager or warden on above number.
Check Out
We will be here to say farewell. Check out time is no later than 10am, a later time can be arranged but please make sure to let us know so we may collect your keys and ensure you have had an enjoyable stay.
Please note that there is an automatic £25 fee if by mistake you happen to leave with the keys to your rental accommodation, Your security bond will be held until safe return of keys.
House Keeping Deposit
There is a £75 returnable deposit required providing no damage is found. This can be made by either authorising your card when booking via this website or as cash on arrival. This will be refunded to you within 2 weeks from the end of your stay provided that no damage is found and the keys have been safely returned to either the duty manager or warden. Please make sure you leave the accommodation in a respectable and clean state upon departure.
We know that accidents happen so please inform us ASAP if there is a breakage or spillage etc so we may take necessary action to make any repairs needed.
Guests & Visitors
Only guests that have booked to stay at the accommodation are permitted, however if you wish to have visitors, you must let either the duty manager, or the warden know as we will require a vehicle registration. There is an additional charge for any extra vehicles parking on site and is subject to availability. All visitors must leave the park by 9pm.
Unless pre arranged, we do not allow more than one car per accommodation any additional cars must be parked as advised by duty manager.
Anti social behaviour is not tolerated and anyone deemed to be breaking the terms and conditions or behaving in an unruly or anti social manor will be asked to leave the park with immediate effect. No refund will be issued.
We are a quiet site and do not permit noise that would disturb the peaceful enjoyment of the other guests or caravan owners. We reserve the right to ask guests to leave in cases of persistent disruption.
Payment Terms
Your booking is provisional until we receive either a 30% deposit or payment in full. Guests making a booking within 30 days of their arrival date will be required to make payment in full.
We will confirm your booking on receipt of payment.
Payments can be made via our online booking system.
Proof of identity maybe required at check in.
Cancellation / Re-arrangement Policy
Change of Plans :
If your plans change we can re-arrange the dates up to 28 days before your holiday to another date within the same season, this is subject to accommodation availability. Any changes require an additional £25 admin fee.
Refunds :
We are only able to refund the following for cancellation purposes on your part.
If you cancel your holiday one week or less before arrival date – NO Refund
Two Weeks or Less – You will get 15% of Booking Cost
Three Weeks or Less – You will get 40% of Booking Cost
Four Weeks or Less – You will get 60% of Booking Cost
Five Weeks or Less – you will get 70 % of Booking Cost
The above is subject to any card fees and agents commission should you have paid in full at the time of booking.
No Shows
If you are unable to get to us on your booked arrival day please contact us and let us know ASAP. If you fail to arrive without letting us know by 23:59 on your arrival day then you will be deemed to have broken the terms & conditions and your holiday will be forfeit. Other than in exceptional circumstances, we will not transfer your stay or make any refund.
Pets
We are a pet friendly site and welcome well behaved dogs to some of our holiday accommodation & carriages. There is a fee of £20 per pet per stay with a max of two dogs per accommodation.
All dogs must be on a lead at all times.
Any dog mess must be picked up immediately and disposed of in the general waste bin.
Please do not leave your dog alone in your accommodation or car at any time.
Please do not leave your dog tied up outside.
Please do not walk your dogs between static caravans or allow them onto other caravan pitches, please also refrain from walking on the grass in front of the caravans.
We reserve the right to curtail your holiday without refund or transfer of dates should these terms be broken causing your pet to be a danger or a nuisance to other guests or holiday home owners.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY DOGS THAT ARE LISTED UNDER THE DANGEROUS DOGS ACT
No Ball Games/Similar
We are a peaceful location and for that reason we do not allow ball games or similar activities anywhere on the park.
Commercial Vehicles
No commercial vehicles, campervans or motorhomes are allowed on our pitches unless agreed by management prior to booking.
Dark Skies
Only low lighting is permitted around the park, this is a “dark sky” area and is a term of our planning consent. Flashing lights are not acceptable. Please turn off exterior lights when not in use and when you are inside your accommodation.
Please remember to bring a torch as the park is extremely dark at night.
Customer Service
Whilst we try to do everything possible to give you a successful and enjoyable holiday, sometimes things can go wrong. Please report an dissatisfaction to the management immediately, we cannot rectify the situation if problems are not reported. Once a holiday maker has returned home it is very difficult to investigate complaints, therefore, we are unable to accept any claims once the holiday is over.
Behaviour
Out of respect for other guests we reserve the right to terminate a holiday without compensation. Where the behaviour of the person/persons named on the booking form or their guests or pets might impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of others.
Maintenance and Cancellation on our part due to Unforeseen Circumstances
In the unlikely event that maintenance or replacement of any of our accommodations is required, we will inform you in advance and provide you with an alternative to the same specification. In the unfortunate event that we have to cancel your holiday, we will contact you at the soonest opportunity and explain the circumstances. We will offer an alternative date or a refund if date is not acceptable.
Recycling
Powys County Council has a strict recycling and refuse policy. You will be required to recycle all paper, cardboard, plastic, tins, food and glass in the appropriate bin provided. This is to reduce landfill and lower our carbon footprint. We have one bin per category, please use them accordingly.
BBQ’S
Please note we do not allow BBQ’S at any of our rental self catering accommodation.
Privacy Policy
We do not hold any digital information on our guests. The information taken by our booking system at time of booking is only used by us to contact guests in respect of their booking. We are obliged to record the name and address of the main booking guest (under UK law). This is held in our booking register and is not shared.
