Our beautifully converted 2 berth Cambrian Box Carriage has your own private decking with outside seating. Inside, to keep you toasty on those cooler evenings, there is a wood burning stove with two easy chairs either side. (An electric oil filled radiator is also available to take the chill off those clear summer nights). There is a king size bed with amazing views and flat screen free view tv for the moments when the weather keeps you inside. There is a low noise fridge a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities.
Please note there is no plumbed in water due to the nature of this unique conversion, fresh water is supplied for you in a refillable water container. Your own shower and toilet facility is only 10 meters away from the carriage.
Whether you’re sitting inside or out, you can enjoy un-spoilt fabulous views towards the river wye and the Cambrian mountains.
This accommodation is pet friendly and suitable for a maximum of two dogs at a cost of £20 per dog per stay. All dogs must be on a lead at all times outside of your accommodation within the park and adjoining field.
Please note that there is no WIFI on the park. Should you wish to “stay connected” you will need to use or bring your own mobile devices. We are not responsible for lack of coverage by your provider.

Outside there is a decked balcony with table and chairs and a hard standing for your car.
All bedding is supplied along with complimentary tea & coffee.
The first firewood pack for the log burner is free and any additional packs can be purchased, if required, from Rivervale Holidays. Please let us know if you would like this option prior to arrival, or speak to the wardens when you’re settled in your accommodation. ( Only wood sourced from Rivervale is allowed to be used with the log burner in the Box Carriage ). The carriage is well insulated and well appointed for you to enjoy a unique break in probably one of the only Cambrian Box Carriages available in the UK.
